Short CV

I'm a researcher at the Linguistics Center of the University of Lisboa. Previously I worked at the LT³, the Language and Translation Technology Team at the University College Ghent. I'm also affliated to the CNTS Language Technology group at Antwerp University and the ILK research group at Tilburg University.

My research interests are positioned in the field of Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. Some keywords to describe my interests: Machine Learning, Semantics, Word Sense Disambiguation, Text Categorization, Coreference Resolution, Named Entity recognition, Automatic Summarization.

After finishing my masters at Tilburg University, I stayed there for another four years as a member of the ILK group to write my phd thesis. After that, I worked at a company AskNow for a short while. From 2006 to 2009, I was a researcher at CNTS Language Technology group at the University of Antwerp.
